I had such a fun shoot with K and S. They are such a sweet couple and truely share a special bond. We decided to go a few places for this shoot including: the beach, a movie theater, and their home. Thanks so much M family for a wonderful evening. Bliss sessions are one of my favorite things to shoot. Haven't heard of a bliss session before? You've heard of trash the dress though right? We have had another fun couple of days at VBS. Our children are really loving this year's theme. I pray they will take what there learning and apply it to their lives. They are such sweet children. Day one of VBS was a hit! :) The kids are learning about following Jesus and what it means to truly follow Him. I can't believe VBS is here already. It seems like we just started planning for it and now we are already one night in. I enjoy everything about VBS. The teaching, the fellowship, and the fun activities are some of the things that make it a good time for adults as well as children. I am excited to see God work in a powerful way this week!

Birthday Fun!

Our little guy turned two this past weekend. I cannot believe he is getting so big! The time flies by so fast. He is such a precious little guy, so much like his dad. He loves all the things a two year old should like: playing in the dirt at pawpaws and grandma Js, tractor rides with pawpaw and grandma S, bath time, story time with momma, trains, and helping his daddy! God has blessed our lives so much because he is in it. Thank you Jesus for K! Parenthood is truly a picture of the love God has for us. No matter what K does we will always love him. It is no secret that newborns are one of my favorite things to photograph. I love everything about them: the way they smell, their new skin, the way they curl...pretty much everything. God created each one individually unique. I just stand in awe at His creation. This little man, C, was just six days old and such a sweet babe. I love the way his lips pout.....sweet perfection. I am so blessed to be able to watch him grow!

This little guy is such a cutie. Look at all the hair he has! Isn't he just adorable. His mom said he won the healthiest baby contest last year at the fair...I can see why! He is such an inquisitive little man. He wanted to explore and learn about everything. I had such a fun time and I am truly blessed to be able to take his one year pictures!
